Colin Lyne as Sven Goran Eriksson the England Football Manager

Colin Lyne has been associated with the England Football Team coach since March 2001. As Sven Goran Eriksson, he is the first and original lookalike, appearing on The Big Breakfast, and Granada Tonight in those early days. Colin also appeared with Paul Crone for Granada Reports (as Sven) and filmed for London Weekend Television's "Stars and Their Doubles" in the same year. He was featured in Sky Television's film for the promotion of the England v Germany match when the National team won 5-0!

He has been frequently featured in the Sun newspaper, and attended St. James's Park, Newcastle, along with Sir Norman Wisdom, for the match against Albania at the invitation of Nationwide, the official England football Team sponsors.

Colin filmed with Ant and Dec for the official World Cup song video, "We're on the Ball," for Sony Entertainment and has filmed many times for television since the Germany defeat. He has worked alongside Mr. Eriksson, as his double, on location for a national television commercial, and he recently completed filming a documentary for London Weekend Television.

He is currently working on a number of TV, film and video productions, and has attended various charity events to help raise money for good causes. A fully paid up Equity member, Colin is not just a lookalike, but also speaks as Sven to add authenticity to the character and was interviewed live on Talksport for the Hawksbee and Jacobs radio show.
